Unless otherwise specified, the issues of documents not listed in the DODISS shall be the issue of the nongovernment documents which is current on

In the event of a conflict between the text of this

19、 specification and the references cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence. Nothing in this specification, however, shall supersede applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3 REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials. Materials shall be in accordance

20、with the applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Parts. The parts shall comply with all requirements specified on the specified drawings (dwgs) and with all associated drawings and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. 3.3 Welds. Welds shall be performed in accordance wit

21、h specification MIL-W-8611 by qualified operators and operations. 3.3.1 Weld inspection. Welds shall be inspected for discontinuities, porosity, and cracks in accordance with specifications MIL-1-6866 or MIL-1-6868 as applicable. 3.4 Protective finish. Unless otherwise specified, the exterior and in

Data requirements. The contractor shall qen

23、erate data in accordance with the requirements of the data item description specified in 6.4). 3.6. First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Requirements for the submission of first article samples to be submitted by the contractor shal

24、l be specified in the contract. 3.7 Workmanship. All parts shall be fabricated in a thorough workmanlike manner. They shall be free of burrs, chips, sharp edges, cracks, unblended radii, surface defects, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion products and other foreign material. The cleaning method used shal

25、l not be injurious to any of the parts, nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agents. All marking shall he neat and sharply defined. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is respon

26、sible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved bv th

27、e Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessarv to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Unless otherwise specified herein or in .the contract, the provisions of MI

28、L-A-48078 shall apply and are hereby made a part of this detail specification. 4.1.1 Responsibilitv for compliance. All items must meet all requirements of section 3 and 5. The inspections set forth in this specification shall become a part of the Contractors overall inspection system or quality pro

29、gram. The absence of any inspection requirements in the specification shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or suppl-ies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. Sampling in quality conformance does not au

30、thorize submission of known defective material, either indicated or actual, nor does it commit the Government to acceptance of defective material. 4.2 Classification of inspections. The following tvpes of inspections shall be conducted: a. First article inspection b. Quality conformance inspection 5

The contractor shall submit a first article sample for evaluation in accordance with the provisions 4.3.2.

32、The first article sample shall consist of the sample quantities indicated in Table I, for the Tile, Armor, XM3, XM4, XM5, XM6 and XM7 (as applicable). specified herein. 4.3.2 Inspections to be performed.
