7、ocurement functions should be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer. 1 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials and components. 3.1.1 Materials. Ail materials cited on Drawing DL4-4-27 or on the subsidiary drawings shall conform to the specifications listed thereon, or

8、to the specific characteristics s.et forth on the drawings. 3.1.2 Components. All components of the cryptographic equipment destroyer shall conform to the specifications and drawings listed on Brawing DL4-4-27 and subsidiary drawhgs . 3.2 Assembly. The cryptographic equipment destroyer shall be load

9、ed * and assembled in accordance with Drawing D4-4-27. assembled with the destroyer until after the leakage test. electric wire shall not be exposed to acid fumes at any time (see 6.3). The igniter charger assembly Drawing B4-4-28, shall be loaded with first fire mixture conforming to Drawing Bl43-9-4. when tested as specified in 4.4.4.1 (see 6.3). The weight of the mixture shall be no less than 27 grams 3.5

12、LeakaE. 3.5.1 Body. aie body assembly, Drawing D4-4-34 shall no% leak when subjected to an air pressure of 5 0.5 pound per square inch gage (psig) for a minhum period of i5 seconds and tested as Specified in 4.4.4,2(a). 3.5.2 Cover. The cover assembly less fuzes, Drawing D4-4-34 shall not leak when

13、subjected to an air pressure of 5 + 0.5 psig for a minimum period of i5 seconds and tested as specified in r.4.4.2(b). 3.5.3 Destroyer. The destroyer shall not leak when tested as specified in 4.4.4.ZZT. 3.6 ZJnctioninE. Burning of the incendiary filling shall be initiated by either type fuze and sh

14、all continue ntil the destroyer is completely consumed when tested as specified in 4.4.4.3. The term “completely con- sumed“ means that there shall be no unburned incendiary filling in the ash after burning ceases (see 6.3) . 3.7 Preproduction. Prior to the start of regular production, a pre- produc

15、tion sample of destroyers shall be produced in accordance with this specification for examination and test (see 4.3). 3.8 Workmanship. The destroyer shall be free from contamination (oil, grease or foreign matter) and damage such as dents, cracks or deformation which could affect its use. 4. QUALITY

16、 ASSURANCE .PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. 4.1.1 Supplier s responsibility. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the perform- ance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. otherwise specified in the contract or order,

17、 the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspec- tion requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are de

18、emed necessaxy to assure supplies and services conform to specified requirements. The supplier shall provide

19、 objective evidence acceptabl-e to the contracting officer that the reauirements of 3.1 and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been provided in this specification have been satisfied. 4.2 Classifica&;of inspections. (a) Preproduction inspection (see 4.). (b) Quality conformance inspecti
