It specifies the slot structures and frame structures that are used. It specifies3sub channeling on the uplink PDCH. This standard cont

28、ains the specification of the4paging displacement procedure for the PCCH of GPRS-136. It also specifies power5output, power control, and modulation to be used for the 136+ bearer.6This physical layer is very similar to the physical layer for the DTC (see7TIA/EIA-136-131 3). The frame structures and

29、paging displacement procedure is very8similar to the ones used on DCCH (see TIA/EIA-136-121 2).9To accomplish some tasks (e.g., tune to the correct carrier or use the correct power10output), the physical layer must communicate with the Radio Resource Management11Entity (RRME, see TIA/EIA-136-335 6).

31、22. Service Access Points1The Physical Layer (i.e., Layer 1) associated with a 30-kHz Packet-Data Channel (PDCH)2provides service access points at both the MS and BS side (see TIA/EIA-136-330). The number associated with each field indicates11its length in symbols. When /4 DQPSK is used, there are two bits per symbol.

The values defined for DFT are the same as those5defined for the CDFT field (see Section 3.3). SFP values
