3、ded as a complement to Recommendation ITU-T L.1201, which describes the architecture of direct current (DC) power systems with an up to 400 VDC information and communication technology (ICT) equipment interface. The up to 400 VDC ICT equipment interface is described in Recommendation ITU-T L.1200. R
4、ecommendation ITU-T L.1202 provides a framework for assessing performances of up to 400 VDC power feeding systems and the savings incurred when compared to other power feeding systems such as the 48 VDC power system and the AC uninterruptable power system (UPS) commonly used in information and commu
5、nication technology (ICT) sites. This Recommendation deals with performance factors such as efficiency, reliability/availability and environmental impact. ITU-T L.1202 (04/2015) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized
7、agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a v
8、iew to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommend
9、ations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for concis
10、eness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendat
11、ion is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. I

21、ec. ITU-T L.1202 (04/2015) Introduction The architecture of direct current (DC) power systems with an up to 400 VDC ICT equipment interface ITU-T L.1200 is recommended in ITU-T L.1201. This Recommendation compliments ITU-T L.1201 providing a framework for assessing the performances of up to 400 VDC
22、power feeding systems and savings incurred when compared to other power feeding systems such as the 48 VDC power system and the AC UPSs commonly used in ICT sites. Energy efficiency results obtained by applying this Recommendation can be used as input for the evaluation of the energy efficiency perf
23、ormance of DC power systems for up to 400 VDC equipment in data centres and telecommunication centres. A comparative assessment approach as described in ITU-T L.1320 allows an energy efficiency measurement of the up to 400 VDC power feeding system at the level of the equipment to be compared with th
24、e energy efficiency measurement of other power equipment. A gain in energy savings of 5% to 20% has been assessed for the up to 400 VDC power feeding system in many papers and presentations (see Bibliography). This Recommendation also reports other benefits in terms of reliability, maintainability,
