29、shallnot,whatevertheirposition,fitwhollywithinthecylinderspecifiedinEN711. Nondetachablecomponents,partswhicharenotintendedtoberemoved,shallcomplywithoneofthe following: a) thecomponentsshalleitherbefixedtotheproductthattheycannotbecomedetachedwhentestedin accordancewiththetorqueandtensiontestsin7.3

30、,or b) anycomponentwhichbecomesdetachedwhentestedshallnotfitwhollywithinthecylinderspecifiedin EN711. 5.4.2 Plasticdecals Plasticdecalsorpartsofplasticdecalsshallnotbecomedetachedorberemovablebyhand,whentestedin accordancewith7.4.1and7.4.2. 5.5Edges,projectionsandcorners Inordertoavoidlacerationsora

31、brasions,surfacesshallbesmoothandfreefromburrs. Edgesandcornersinfrequentbodycontactshallberoundedand/orchamferedinthemannerofoneofthe examplesgiveninFigure2.Thisrequirementisappliedtoedgesandcornerswheretheinternalangleisless than120andisformedbyrigidmaterialswhich,duringnormalusethechildwouldhavec

32、ontactwithwhen leaning,pressingorrubbingagainstanedgeorcorner. Allothercornersandedgesshallbechamferedorrounded. NOTEUnavoidableshearandcrushingpointstha

34、tarecreatedonlywhensettinguporfoldingbythecarerareacceptable becausethecarercanbeassumedtobeincontrolofitsmovements. 5.6.2 Childsupportsuspensionsystem 5.6.2.1 Childsupportsuspensionsystem Suspensionsystemcords shallhaveaminimumdiameterof10mmoraminimumwidthof20mm. 5.6.2.2 Anyrotationofthechildsuppor

35、tsuspensionsystemshallnotgiverisetoanyclosureoranygaps withinthecords/ropesorstrapsofthesystem. 5.6.2.3Suspension system Gapsbetweentwoconsecutiveturnsofexposedextensionhelicalspringsshallnotbegreaterthan3mm whenthespringisextendedwitha15kgmassandshallbenotgreaterthan5mmwhenthespringis extendedwitha

36、66kgmass. 5.6.3 Lockingmechanismsonframes Whenthebabybouncerandanyframeisassembledinaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructions, lockingmechanismsshallbeconsideredasinoperablebyachildifatleastoneofthefollowingconditionsis fulfilled: a) foldingordetachmentisonlypossiblewhentwoindependentlockingmechani

37、smsareoperated simultaneously;or b) releaseofthelockingmechanismsrequiresa50Nforceorrequirestheuseofatool(e.g.spanneror screwdriver);or c) releaseofthelockingmechanismsrequiretwoconsecutiveactions,thefirstofwhichshallbemaintained whilethesecondiscarriedout. 5.7Stabilityofframe Whentestedinaccordance

38、with7.5thepartoftheframeincontactwiththefloorshallnotmovemorethan10 mmfromitsoriginalpositionandtheframeshallnotoverturn. 5.8Staticstrength Whentestedinaccordancewith7.6,thebabybouncershallnotcollapseandshallremainattachedtothe supportbeamorframesuppliedandshallfulfilitsfunctions.
