Scope1.1 This terminology covers basic stitches made by sewingmachines designed for home use. These terms and definitionsare not ne

3、cessarily consistent with those used in the apparel orhome furnishings manufacturing industries. Each stitch isidentified with a definition, a discussion of how the stitch isformed and might be used and an illustration of one or morepossible stitch patterns. This terminology does not includestitches

9、d and one bobbin threadinterlaced with each other.DISCUSSIONThe needle thread passes through the material andinterlaces with thread from the bobbin so that the interlacing is midwaybetween surfaces of the material(s) being sewn.
