4、being 80 %. 3.2.2 Self-discharging of the battery Generally assumed as being 4% per month (present state of the art). 3.2.3 Vehicle Closed-circuit Current (Non-opera- ting Current) This shall be measured. 3.2.4 Vehicle Standing Time Set at 40 days maximum. 3.2.5 Cold Start Performance of Engine at -
5、10C A cold start shall be performed with the battery 40 Yo charged. 3.3 Instructions 3.3.1 Measuring the Overall Closed-circuit Current The engine of the vehiclr shall be switchec off. the uoors locked and alarm sysrems activaied. in? measurement should be continued over a longer period of time (= 0
6、.5 h) in order not to take consumers into account which have yet to switch themselves off. 3.3.2 Measuring Individual Closed-circuit Current Consumers All the components in question shall be disconnected from the vehicle electrical supply, Lintil the ammeter does not measures any more closed- circui

Next. all components can be individually connected and measured. 3.3.3 Cold start Cold start tests have shown that engines with starter systems conforming to GMI L-6-3 or GMI L-6-14 are still capable of starting, a
