All of the following measurements shall be performed in the hottest cylinder. 3.2.1 .I -4.2 The temperatures shall be measured in full-load operation within an engine speed range between the maximum tor

43、que output and the maximum engine speed in steps of An = 500 min-. The engine speed stepping shall be reduced to An = 100 min- for temperature gradients of ATlAn 50 K / 500 min-. If the RI- rate increased in the part-load range, the temperatures shall also be verified in the part-load range. 3.2.1 .

Sealing seat temperature High-voltage connection temperature 3.2.1.2 Ionic current Measurement. Ignition can be d

45、etected in the combustion chamber using the ionic current measuring method. In particular, not only combustion resulting from an ignition spark can be registered but also that resulting from thermal combustion of the mixture at a hot point in the combustion chamber. This phenomena is basically divid

46、ed into pre-ignition (Pi) and retarded ignition (RI). 3.2.1.2.1 Measurement Setup. See figure 3. 3.2.1.2.2 Measurement Principle. See Figure 4. 3.2.1.2.3 Preparations.
