SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a laminate of closed cell polyethylene foam made of recycled chips, heat fused on a polyethylene sheet by punching through heated needles. The po
3、lyethylene sheet acts as processing aid and remains on the foam. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as boot floor filler below the boot mat. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform
4、to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 POLYETHYLENE FOAM Tests shall be carried out on specimens with the polyethylene sheet attached. 3.4.1 Density, max 100 kg/m3 (ISO 845/ASTM D 3574, Test A) 3.4.2 Compression Set, max 40% (ISO 1856, Method A/ASTM D 35
