17、chnical Committee CEN/TC 334 “Irrigation techniques”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2006, and conflicting national standards s

20、se meters are used to meter the actual volume of irrigation water flowing through a fully charged, closed pipe, in order to manage consumption, and to invoice the volume of water distributed. 45、ovides an indication at the end of the measurement is not an indicating device. 4 Technical characteristics 4.1 General specifications A water meter measures continuously, memorises and displays the integrated volume of water passing through the measurement transducer. NOTE A water meter includes at

46、 least a measurement transducer, a calculator and an indicating device. The manufacturer shall specify in his instruction manual the conditions in which the meter can operate in the event of reversal of the flow direction. Other ancillary functions of output and reception of information (remote read

47、ing, prepayment etc.) may be included provided they do not affect the performance of the meters as defined in this European Standard. The meter will preferably be designed in such a way as to present as little obstacle as possible to the water flow and any solid materials it may transport. The meter

48、 shall be designed such that its operation cannot be affected by a magnetic field as defined in 6.1.3. 4.2 Rated operating conditions Rated operating conditions are given below: a) Ambient temperature (Tamb): 0,1 C Tamb 400 MPa; Module of elasticity: 12 GPa; Wetting (immersion time): 90 s; Thickness

49、 of fibre: approximately 40 m to 50 m; Width: 0,6 mm to 0,7 mm; Length: 15 mm to 20 mm. 6.1.7.2.4 Water quality 1c Water quality 1c contains a total load of said particles less than the load of water quality 1a. 6.1.7.2.5 Quality 2 water Water containing large particles with the following characteristics: Particles: Form: spherical balls; Number of balls: 48; Density: 24 balls between 0,9 g/cm3and 1,1 g/cm3; 24 balls greater than 2 g/cm3; Size of balls with respect to meter: equal to
