Abstract. The cartridge hold

2、er is intended for wear on a leather belt to hold six rounds of 38-caliber ammunition. Salient Characteristics. piece leather construction: main body with a 1-3/8 inch belt slot and retaining strip. The color of the flesh side shall be natural. For finishing the edges of the leather, a colorless aqu

3、eous solution shall be used. The overall dimensions of the holder shall be 6-1/8 inch (+ 1/8, -1/16 inch) by 2 inches. (See Figure 1). The holder shall be comprised of two Materials. Leather. The leather shall be vegetable tanned, top grain cattlehide. smoothly on the grain side, insuring a long-las

4、ting lustrous finish. retaining strip 4 ounce. The thickness tolerances for both pieces shall be plus 1 ounce and minus 1/2 ounce. Product Demonstration Models will be analyzed and evaluated by the government. Evaluation criteria and basis for award are contained in the solicitation

10、. Product Demonstration Models will be retained by the government. One (1) Product Demonstration Model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresponding production items delivered under this contract. Offerers are advised that the Product Demo

11、nstration Model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsibility to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item Description specified above. The occurrence of defects gualitv Assurance Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characterist

12、ics of this description and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards and quality assurance practices. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for, under th

13、e provisions of the contract. Reliance on contractor QA systems shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products or supplies submitted to the government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. Examination. Holder lots shall be inspected in acc

14、ordance with “Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributes“, ANSI/ASQC 21.4, published by the American Society for Quality Control. Visual Examination. The holder shall be examined for the defects listed below. The lot size shall be expressed in units of holders. The sample unit is on

15、e holder. 16、holder shall be examined for the following defects: any hole, cut, tear, color not as specified; any spot or stain (grain side); thread ends not removed; marking missing, incorrect, or illegible; thread not as specified or color of thread not as specified, not able to hold rounds of ammunition secur

17、ely, measurement of item not as specified. Dimensional Examination. The finished holder shall conform to the dimensions specified. Any dimension that is not within the established tolerance shall be classified as a defect. The sample unit shall be one holder; the inspection level shall be S-3 and th

18、e AQL, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 1.5. Packaaina Examination. The fully packaged shipping containers shall be examined in accordance with defects listed below. The lot size shall be the number of shipping containers in the inspection lot. The inspection level shall be

19、S-2 and AQL, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units, shall be 1.0.
