7、 Foreword The DIN 18560 series of standards has been revised by Technical Committee Estriche im Bauwesen of the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee) in response to the publication of DIN EN 13813. The DIN 18560 series of standards comprises the following: Par
8、t 1: General requirements, testing and construction; Part 2: Floor screeds and heating floor screeds on insulation layers; Part 3: Bonded screed; Part 4: Screeds on a separating layer; Part 7: Heavy-duty screeds (industrial screeds). 1 Scope This standard, in conjunction with DIN 18560-1 and DIN EN
9、13813, specifies requirements for and the testing and construction of floor screeds made from mastic asphalt, synthetic resin, magnesite or cementitious hard aggregate, which are not intended to receive flooring, and which will be subjected to the types of loading listed in table 1. It does not appl
10、y to screed on which industrial trucks running on steel rollers exert loads greater than 40 N/mm2. When selecting a heavy-duty screed on the basis of its intended purpose, loads other than those referred above (e.g. thermal, moisture or chemical loads) and other requirements to be met by the screed
11、(e.g. electrical conductivity, slip resistance) shall be taken into consideration at the planning stage. 2 Normative references This standard incorporates, by dated or undated reference, provisions from other publications. 17、pe of loading specified for the relevant load group in table 1 of the present standard. In multi-layer screeds, the deformation behaviour of the layers, their interaction and their influence on the structural base shall be coordinat
20、ed. The deformability of the screed and base shall be given particular consideration where guided industrial trucks are used. 3.2 Mastic asphalt screed As a rule, mastic asphalt screed is to be constructed as single-layer screed on a separating layer. The hardness class, nominal thickness and maximu
21、m aggregate size shall be taken from table 2 on the basis of the relevant load group and location of the screed. Mastic asphalt screed having a nominal thickness greater than 40 mm shall be laid in two layers. Minimum and maximum screed thicknesses are given in table 3 on the basis of the maximum ag
22、gregate size. DIN 18560-7:2004-04 6 Mastic asphalt screed of hardness class IC 10 shall not be exposed to imposed loads which result in a compressive stress greater than 1 N/mm2over a long period of time. Mastic asphalt screeds of other hardness classes have a lower load capacity. Table 2 Mastic asp
