It is one
16、of a Series of Standards issued by the Canadian Standards Association under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code. It supersedes previous editions published in 1951, 1959, 1983, and 1986, and is written in SI (metric) units. In this new edition, the Standard has revised the requirements for enclos
17、ure openings by introducing the IEC test finger and has clarified the output shortcircuit test requirements for different types of welders. For general information on the Standards of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part II, see the Preface of C22.2 No. 0, General Requirements-Canadian Electrical Code
18、, Part II. This Standard was prepared by a Subcornniittee of the Technical Committee on Industrial Products under the jurisdiction of the CSA Standards Steering Committee on CE Code, Part II and was formally approved by these Committees. May 1990 Notes: (1) Use of the masculine gender in this Standa
19、rd is not meant to exclude the feminine gender when applied to persons. Similarly, use of the singular does not exclude the plural (and vice versa) when the sense allows.
