Requirements3.1 Nonvolatile Content (Total So

8、lids)The nonvolatilecontent shall be agreed upon between the purchaser and seller,and shall be determined by Test Method D 2834.3.2 SedimentAny sediment present in the product shall besoft and free of grit. The amount of sediment shall not exceed0.2 % when tested as specified in Test Method D 1290.3

9、.3 pHThe pH of the product shall not be greater than10.0 when tested as specified in Test Method E70.3.4 Stability:3.4.1 Heat (Accelerated Aging)When tested as specifiedin Test Method D 1791, the product shall develop no offensiveodor, exhibit minimum creaming, gelling, or separation, anddisplay les

10、s than 10 % loss of 60 specular gloss when tested asspecified in Test Method D 1455.3.4.2 Freeze/Thaw ResistanceWhen tested as specified inTest Method D 3209, the product shall exhibit minimumcreaming, gelling, or separation, and display less than 10 %loss of 60 specular gloss when tested as specifi

11、ed in TestMethod D 1455.3.5 ColorColor, as expressed by the whiteness index,shall be measured as specified in Method D 3210. The productshall be equivalent or have less discoloring effect whencompared to the control floor polish specified in 3.15.3.6 OdorThe product shall have no offensive odor.3.7

12、Visual GlossThe visual gloss shall be equivalent tothe control floor polish specified in 3.15. Utilize the visualgloss method in Practice D 3052 rather than the 60 speculargloss determination by gloss meter.3.8 RecoatabilityThe dry film shall have at least a FAIRrating, preferably GOOD, when tested

13、as specified in TestMethod D 3153 (Bench Panel Test).3.9 Water-SpottingThe dry film shall show minimumwhitening, color change, change in appearance, or removal offilm when tested as specified in Test Method D 1793.3.10 Detergent Resistance:1This specification is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Commit

17、to soiling as compared to the control floor polishspecified in 3.15, when tested as specified in Practice D 3052.3.11.2 If a bench test method is preferred, the dry film shallhave an equivalent or superior resistance to soiling as com-pared to the control floor polish specified in 3.15 when testedas

18、 specified in Test Method D 3206.3.12 PowderingThe dry film shall have an equivalent orless severe degree of powdering when tested as specified inTest Method D 2048 and compared to the control floor polishspecified in 3.15.3.13 Coeffcient of FrictionThe dry film shall have acoefficient of static fri

19、ction of at least 0.5 when tested asspecified in Test Method D 2047.3.14 RemovabilityThe dry film shall have at least aGOOD rating when tested as specified in Test Method D 1792.If the product is described as being detergent resistant andmeets the requirements of 3.10 of this specification, add anad

20、ditional 5 mL of ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH, 28 %) per100 mL of the specified stripper solution.3.15 PerformanceThe dry film shall have an acceptableperformance rating when tested as specified in PracticeD 3052.Asuitable reference material to be utilized as a controlfloor polish in the performance ev
