1、Designation: B26/B26M 11Standard Specification forAluminum-Alloy Sand Castings1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B26/B26M; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in par
2、entheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Scope*1.1 This specification2covers aluminum-alloy sand castingsdesignated a
3、s shown in Table 1.1.2 This specification is not intended for aluminum-alloysand castings used in aerospace applications.1.3 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1/H35.1M. Unified Numbering System alloy des-ignations are in accordance with Practice E527.1.4 Unless the order s
4、pecifies the “M” specification desig-nation, the material shall be furnished to the inch-pound units.1.5 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminumand aluminum alloys and their properties in this specification,see Annex A1 and Annex A2.1.6 The values stated in either SI units or inch-poun
5、d unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in nonconformancewith the standard.1.7 This standard does not purport to add
