Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review, substantial agreement has been reached by directly and materially affected int

Morgan Chase a defect in the MICR printing, a processing need to add information to a previously encoded strip, to redirect the processing destination of the check, for better document compatibility with some statement stuffing equipment, or for aesthetic reasons prior to returning the check in the payors statement. Removal of the strip is a critical step and the technique to be used should be compatible with the strip. The strip should be removed by means that do minimal damage to the check.
