8、standard; however, it is offered to provide background information. This is the ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 10000, Professional Qualifications Standard for Green Plumbing Systems Installers. ASSE International and the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) serve as co-secr

9、etariats for the standard. ASSE International is dedicated to the preservation of public health and safety through the use of proper plumbing and piping practices and approved materials. Its mission is to, in the spirit of its motto “Prevention Rather Than Cure,” continually improve the performance,

10、 reliability and safety of plumbing systems. The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has been protecting the publics health and safety and supporting sustainability and emerging technology for more than eighty years by working in concert with government and industr

11、y to implement comprehensive plumbing and mechanical systems around the world. With the escalation of green building and the rapid emergence of sustainable technologies and construction practices, ASSE and IAPMO recognized the need to establish a level of competency necessary for the installation an

12、d inspection of sustainable plumbing and mechanical systems and products to protect public health, safety and the environment. As such, the Series 10000 Working Group was established to develop this Professional Qualification Standard for Green Plumbing Systems. The Series 10000 standard institutes

13、a minimum level of practical experience and the demonstration of knowledge of the requirements referenced in the 2010 IAPMO Green Plumbing and Mechanical Code Supplement in order for an individual to demonstrate the required level of competency. This voluntary, consensus standard was promulgated in
