12、part of American National Standard ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS 003-2015.)The Automotive Glass Replacement Safety StandardTM(AGRSS) was created bythe Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) working under the auspices of the AmericanNational Standards Institute (ANSI). AGSC also serves as secretariat for the stan-dard.T
13、he AGRSS Standard represents the windshield replacement industrys best practic-es as complied under ANSI guidelines by a balanced committee of windshield re-placement practitioners, suppliers and other interested parties.This standard contains an industry consensus of recommended terminology, defini
14、-tions, process and procedures. These recommendations reflect the expertise of theAGSC Standards Committee members who hold a combined experience of hundredsof years and many thousands of actual windshield replacements.This standard contains one annex. Annex A is informative and is not considered pa
15、rtof this standard.Suggestions for improvements of this standard will be welcome. They should be sentto the Auto Glass Safety Council, 385 Garrisonville Road, Suite 116, Stafford, VA22554.This standard was developed, processed and approved for submittal to ANSI by theStandards Committee of the Auto

20、o guide the industry in auto glass replacement procedures that meet the pertinent Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements. 1.2.3 To provide guidelines and objectives for groups that supply products, education, and training for the industry. 1.2.4 To promote public awareness of the need fo
21、r safe installation procedures, which will reduce the risk of personal injury and/or death from traffic accidents. 1.2.5 To provide a comprehensive automotive glass replacement standard. 1.2.6 To achieve a higher degree of consistency among installation practices. 1.2.7 To create an automotive glass
