29、y Technical Committees on which all the National Committees having a special interest therein are represented, express, as nearly as possible, an international consensus of opinion on the subjects dealt with. 2) They have the form of recommendations for international use and they are accepted by the

30、 National Committees in that sense. 3) In order to promote international unification, the IEC expresses the wish that all National Committees should adopt the text of the IEC recommendation for their national rules in so far as national conditions will permit. Any divergence between the IEC recommen

31、dation and the corresponding national rules should, as far as possible, be clearly indicated in the latter. 35、autour des instruments, dans la mesure o le gaz alimentant ces instruments est vacu dans latmosphre. II est donc ncessaire de prendre soin que ni linstallation ni les procdures dexploitation des installations quipes dinstruments pneumatiques aliments par le gaz de processus ne puissent conduire des

36、situations dangereuses. II convient dviter, chaque fois que cela est possible, lutilisation du gaz de proces- sus pour la commande des instruments pneumatiques. En ce qui concerne le matriel lectrique install dans des atmosphres gazeuses explo- sives, des prescriptions existent concernant le type de

37、 protection, la classification des zones dangereuses et les techniques dinstallation. Se reporter aux CE1 79-10, CE1 79-14 et aux normes associes pour les types de protection dfinis dans les parties appropries de la CE1 79. Une partie des recommandations dfinies dans les parties de la CE1 79 rfrence

38、s ici est galement applicable aux instruments pneumatiques lorsquils sont commands par du gaz de processus. 41、ower supply for pneumatic instruments, instead of compressed air. In this case, there is the potential danger that explosive gas atmospheres may be formed both inside and around the instruments, since the power supply of these instruments is bled off into the open air. Care should therefore be taken

42、 that neither the installation nor the operating practices in plants which are equipped with pneumatic instruments, driven by associated gas, can cause hazardous situations. The use of associated gas to drive pneumatic instruments should be avoided where feasible. For electrical apparatus installed

43、in explosive gas atmospheres, there are adequate guide- lines with regard to the type of protection , the classification of hazardous zones and instal- lation techniques. Refer to IEC 79-10, IEC 79-14 and the related standards for types of protection as defined in the appropriate parts of IEC 79. Pa

44、rt of the recommendations defined in the IEC 79 series are also applicable for pneu- matic instruments when driven by associated gas. These recommendations have been applied in this Technical Report as appropriate. The corrosive effects, which the associated gas may have on pneumatic instruments, an

45、d the potential dangers of toxic properties and particles present in the associated gas are not covered in this report.
