SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirem

Rinse crucible with distilled water. Collect all washings in the beaker. with 0.5 N sodium hydroxide solution. Record total vo

38、lume of sodium hydroxide solution used (25 to 30 mL is usually sufficient). 10 drops of phenophthalein indicator solution and titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid to the colorless end point.
