M.3050.3 (03/2007) i ITU-T Recommendation M.3050.3 Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) Representative process flows Summary The ITU-T M.3050.x Recommendation sub-series contains a
6、reference framework for categorizing the business activities that a service provider will use. The Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (or eTOM for short), which has been developed by the TeleManagement Forum, describes the enterprise processes required by a service provider and analyses them to differe
7、nt levels of detail according to their significance and priority for the business. This business process approach has built on the concepts of management services and functions in order to develop a framework for categorizing all the business activities. This Recommendation contains representative p
8、rocess flows. Source ITU-T Recommendation M.3050.3 was approved on 29 March 2007 by ITU-T Study Group 4 (2005-2008) under the ITU-T Recommendation A.8 procedure. The ITU-T M.3050.x Recommendation sub-series is based on the Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) which has been developed by the TeleMa
9、nagement Forum (TMF). ii ITU-T Rec. M.3050.3 (03/2007) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for
10、studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study
11、groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis wi
12、th ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory prov
13、isions (to ensure e.g. interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of su
14、ch words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ITU draws attention to the possibility that the practice or implementation of this Recommendation may involve the use of a claimed Intellectual Property Right. ITU takes no positi
15、on concerning the evidence, validity or applicability of claimed Intellectual Property Rights, whether asserted by ITU members or others outside of the Recommendation development process. As of the date of approval of this Recommendation, ITU had not received notice of intellectual property, protect
16、ed by patents, which may be required to implement this Recommendation.
