ITU-T G.9903 (08/2017) i Recommendation ITU-T G.9903 Narrowband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing power line communication transceivers for G3-PLC networks Summary Recommendation ITU-T G.9903 contains the physical layer (PHY)
7、 and data link layer (DLL) specification for the G3-PLC narrowband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) power line communication transceivers, for communications via alternating current and direct current electric power lines over frequencies below 500 kHz. The control parameters that d
8、etermine spectral content, power spectral density (PSD) mask requirements, and the set of tools and procedures to support the measurement and reduction of the transmit PSD can be found in Recommendation ITU-T G.9901. This Recommendation adds several corrections of and improvements to the PHY, the DL
9、L, and the routing parts of the specification. It also integrates Amendment 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.9903 (2014), adding support for coexistence with other narrowband PLC technologies via the preamble-based coexistence mechanism specified in clause 10 of IEEE 1901.2. ITU-T G.9903 (08/2017) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technolog
13、ies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommun
14、ication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas o
15、f information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operati
16、ng agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“
17、or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements.
