Quintero Pentair Valves if not specified, the gas over oil actuator will fail in last position. 6.3.6 Fail-safe positions Common fail-safe positions available: ANSI/ISA-96.08.01-2017 - 20- a) Fail in last position (Lock in last/current position) b) Fai
12、l open (Drive to the full open position) c) Fail closed (Drive to the full closed position) d) Fail to user specified position 6.3.7 Fail-safe conditions Condition specification shall include active or passive state and the levels which define the event including but not limited to the following: a)
13、 ESD / trip signal b) Low/high gas pressure settings c) Line break When specified, a power gas storage bottle with an isolating check valve on the supply line shall be provided in the power gas circuit to provide sufficient reserve for valve actuator fail safe operation at a predefined operating pre
14、ssure. 6.3.8 Controls User shall specify the method or combination of methods used to control the actuator. This section defines the available methods for control. 6.3.8.1 Local control capabilities A control station shall be provided with manual open-close devices and when required a local-remote s
15、elector device. 6.3.8.2 Remote control When specified, actuators shall be provided with integrally mounted control system which receives a signal. 6.3.8.3 Partial stroke testing (PST) User shall specify the need for partial stroke testing along with the triggering event and method for validation. Ty
16、pical triggering events can be specified as follows: a) Remote control Primary control signal change or dedicated PST signal b) Manual Push button or keypad access c) Auto-schedule Microcontroller conducts PST on preprogrammed interval During the PST event, the valve movement may be validated throug
17、h one or a combination of the following: a) Position feedback - 21 - ANSI/ISA-96.08.01-2017 b) PST Relay or contact c) Dedicated PST signal d) Visual confirmation The need for thrust / torque, speed, valve signatures and advanced diagnostics shall be communicated from the user to the manufacturer /
18、supplier. Further information on PST testing can be found in ANSI/ISA-TR96.05.01 documentation. 6.4 FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test) procedure Any additional FAT/SAT testing requirements shall be defined and provided to the actuator supplier. As a minimum, each gas over oil a
19、ctuator shall meet the performance testing criteria defined in the testing section 9 of this document. 6.5 Manual override All gas over oil actuators shall be supplied with hydraulic manual overrides (HMO) to open or close the valve in the event of loss of electrical power by default. The HMO operat
20、ion will be designed in order to provide operation priority as per the following options: a) priority of the manual operation against the remote operation b) when specified, priority of the remote control and automatic return to the remote control, even if the system has been left in the local opera
21、tion mode. The lever of the handpump and the handle of the directional control valve (if required) shall be lockable to prevent unauthorized manual operation. The pump extension shall be designed such that it is retracted into the pump body, when not in use, to prevent exposure to atmosphere, inadve
22、rtent sandblasting, or painting operations. The oil distributor shall be provided with 4 working positions: a) remote control b) local control to close c) local control to open d) by-pass position to equalize the oil levels in the two tanks is required when the design of the actuator is such that th
23、e open / close hydraulic circuits are not completely isolated 6.6 Accessories 6.6.1 Position switches User may specify the need for mechanical, magnetic or electrical position switches to indicate travel limits and/or confirmation that a partial stroke was achieved. Position switch settings shall be
24、 adjustable. ANSI/ISA-96.08.01-2017 - 22- 6.6.2 Corrosion protection User may specify a specific corrosion resistant coating to be used or may specify the need to operate in an extreme and harsh environment. 6.6.3 Accumulators User may specify, as needed: a) The duration of time the accumulator must
