8、 2719 56DIN 53505ISO Recommendation R 868 - 19681 ScopeThe object of this test method is the rapid determination of the indentation hardness of elastomers, andthermoplastics where applicable. Preferably, this test method should be restricted to quality control purposesonly. The Shore A scale should

9、be used for the measurement within the range (3095) Shore A, andType D for hardnesses of above approximately 90 Shore A. If more accurate hardness results are requiredfor elastomers, e.g. for arbitration purposes, the ball indentation hardness (IRHD) should be determined inaccordance with GME 60256.

10、2 DefinitionsIndentation hardness is the resistance of a material to the penetration of an indentor of specified shape andsize under a specified applied force. The hardness scale runs from 0 to 100. 0 indicates zero hardness and100 indicates infinite hardness.3 Test MethodsTwo methods are available

11、for determining the indentation hardness of Elastomers and thermoplastics bymeans of a durometer.3.1 Hand held instrumentThis method is used for components having curved or divergent surfaces, or from which suitable testpieces cannot be obtained.3.2 Instrument used with a standThis method can only b

12、e used with test pieces having flat parallel surfaces.3.3 The use of the hand held instrument is restricted to quality control purposes Where the use of adurometer is unavoidable for the checking of initial samples, a suitable stand must be used.4 Test Pieces4.1 The test surfaces shall be smooth.4.2

13、 The test piece thickness shall be 6 mm minimum. Thinner material may be laminated to achieve thisthickness, provided each layer is not less than 2 mm thick, and not more than 3 layers are used. Airtrapping between layer must be avoided.4.3 The test area should be such that at least 3 readings can b

16、sweise zur laufenden Qualittskontrolle. DasHrteprfgert Shore A wird im Bereich (30.95) Shore A angewendet. Probekrper mit Hrten ber90 Shore A werden mit dem Gert nach Shore D gemessen. Werden bei Elastomeren exaktere Mewertebentigt, z.B. in Schiedsfllen, dann wird die Kugeldruckhrte (IRHD) entsprech

17、end GME 60256 ermittelt.2 BegriffUnter der Hrte nach Shore wird der Widerstand gegen das Eindringen eines Krpers bestimmter Formunter definierter Druckkraft verstanden. Die Hrteskala umfat jeweils einen Bereich von (0.100), wobei 0der kleinsten, 100 der grten Hrte entspricht.3 PrfmethodenEs gibt zwe

18、i Mglichkeiten an Elastomeren und Thermoplasten Hrtemessungen nach Shore A und Dvorzunehmen:3.1 HandmessungSie wird an gekrmmten oder nicht planparallelen Fertigteilen vorgenommen, sowie an Fertigteilen, ausdenen keine geeigneten Prfkrper herzustellen sind.3.2 Messung mit dem StandgertMit dem Standg

19、ert sind solche Probekrper zu messen, deren Prfflchen parallel sind und keineKrmmungen aufweisen.3.3 Das Handmegert wird nur zur routinemigen laufenden Qualittskontrolle angewendet. Wenn beiErstbemusterungen die Shore- Hrte geprft werden mu, ist ein Standgert zu verwenden.4 Probekrper und Probenvorb

20、ereitung4.1 Die Prfflchen sollen glatt sein.4.2 Die Dicke der Probekrper soll 6 mm sein. Dnneres Material kann geschichtet werden, wenn dieMindestprobekrperdicke mit hchstens 3 Schichten erreicht wird. Keine dieser Schichten darf 2 mmsein. Lufteinschlsse sind zu vermeiden.4.3 Die Prfflche ist so zu

21、whlen, da mindestens 3 Messungen vorgenommen werden knnen. 22、oningFor initial sample approval, the period between vulcanization or moulding and testing of elastomers orthermoplastics shall be 7 days minimum. For routine quality control tests, the period shall be 72 h minimum.Test pieces of elastomers shall be maintained at a temperature of (+23 5) C for at le

23、ast 8 h immediatelyprior to test, and must be free from strain during this period. Test pieces of thermoplastics must be similarlyconditioned, but in addition, the relative humidity should be maintained at (50 5) % and the period extendedto 16 h.6 ApparatusThe apparatus must comply with the followin

26、laufende Qualittsberwachung nicht frher als 72 h nach der Vulkanisation bzw.Herstellung durchzufhren. Vor der Prfung mssen die Probekrper aus Elastomeren min 8 h imunbeanspruchten Zustand bei (+23 5) C gelagert werden. Die Probekrper aus Thermoplasten werdenmin 16 h im unbeanspruchten Zustand bei (+

27、23 5) C und (50 5) % relativer Luftfeuchte gelagert.6 PrfgerteDie Prfgerte mssen den folgenden Anforderungen entsprechen:6.1 Die Skale mu in einzelne Hrtegrade mit einem Teilstrichabstand zwischen den einzelnenHrtegraden von mindestens 1 mm geteilt sein.6.2 Die Eindringkrper der Hrteprfgerte mssen f

29、acteristic of the durometer is defined by indentor displacement caused by the forceexerted upon the indentor. The nominal values of the spring characteristic are shown in the following:6.4 A total durometer error of 1 Shore is permissible. The apparatus should be inspected at least every6 months wit

30、h a calibrating instrument.6.5 Durometer Types A and D may be provided with a stand, as an accessory into which the durometer canbe clamped. When using this stand, it is possible to press the durometer foot on to the test piecesurface with a force of 12,5 N, or 50 N for the Shore A and D ranges resp

31、ectively. It must beensured that the test piece surface and foot of the durometer are parallel.6.6 The stand is not used when manual measurements are made.6.7 If measurements are to be made at temperatures other than (+23 5) C, a suitable temperaturechamber should be used in which the test pieces sh

32、ould be conditioned according to the relevant testrequirements. The durometer will be placed into the temperature chamber immediately beforeperforming the test. If a durometer stand is used, the temperature chamber should be so constructedthat the test piece, its support, the indentor and presser-fo

33、ot will be maintained in the chamber at thetest temperature, while the indicator and spring of the durometer are external to the chamber, at atemperature of (+23 5) C. Die Sollwerte der Federcharakteristiken sind nachstehender Tabelle zu entnehmen:6.4 Fr das Hrteprfge

36、rt ist ein Gesamtfehler von 1 Shore zulssig. Die Gerte sind min alle 6 Monatemit Eichgerten zu berwachen.6.5 Zu den Hrteprfgerten nach Shore A und D gehrt als Standgert eine Zusatzeinrichtung in die dasHrteprfgert eingespannt werden kann und ein planparalleles Andrcken der Probe mit einer Kraftvon 1

37、2,5 N bei Shore A bzw. 50 N bei Shore D gestattet.6.6 Bei der Handmessung wird ausschlielich das Hrteprfgert verwandt.6.7 Wenn Messungen abweichend von (+23 5) C durchgefhrt werden sollen, sind Temperaturkammernzu verwenden. In diesen Temperaturkammern werden die Probekrper entsprechend denPrfbeding

38、ungen gelagert. Das Hrteprfgert wird erst zur Messung unmittelbar vor der Prfung in dieTemperaturkammer gebracht. Bei Messungen mit dem Standgert sind Temperierkammern zuverwenden, die so konstruiert sind, da sich der Probekrper und Probenkrperauflage sowieEindringkrper und Anlageflche des Hrteprfer

39、s in der Kammer bei Prftemperatur, das Mewerkdes Hrteprfers aber auerhalb der Kammer bei (+23 5) C befinden. When other temperatures arespecified, the tolerance on temperature will normally be 2,5 C. Test pieces should reach the testtemperature before being tes

42、ted, or such other time should elapse as is specified. The tolerance on testtemperature is extended to 5 C while the test is in progress.7.2 Hardness readings-should be made in at least 3 points on the test piece, subject to the requirements ofclause 4.3.7.3 The presser foot of the durometer should

43、be pressed against the test piece surface with just sufficientpressure to ensure even contact. Sudden shocks to the instrument must be avoided. If the shape ordimensions of the test piece are such that the stand cannot be used, the durometer should be hand-held. In this case, a possible error of 3 S

44、hore A or D may arise.7.4 Read the gauge 3 seconds after the presser foot and test piece have come into contact.8 Expression of ResultsThe indentation hardness is reported in Shore A or D degrees, and reference should be made to thisspecification. The hardness is taken as the median value of at leas

45、t 3 readings, and shall be a wholenumber. (The median value is the middle value of a series of results arranged in increasing order ofmagnitude, e.g. the median value of 52, 53, 56 is 53) The median value, including a tolerance of: 1 Shore for the test using the stand,and 3 Shore for a hand held dur

46、ometer.must fall within the hardness values, including any tolerances, specified on the relevant engineering drawingor material specification. If the median value deviates by more than twice the tolerance of 1 Shore or 3Shore when using the stand- supported or hand- held durometer respectively, from

Bei Prftemperaturen abweichend von (+23 5) C istan der Probe whrend des Temperierens eine Abweichung von 2,5 C vom Sollwert zulssig.
