SCOPE Scope. This draw

6、ing outlines the requirements for an internal coil for use in hose assemblies. Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for hose accessories specified herein shall not be required. REQUIREMENTS Design configuration. The design, construction, and physical dimensions shall be as specified on

7、 figure 1. Material: Metal coil. Metal coils shall meet the requirements of American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 301, AISI 302, or AISI 304 with the following requirements: Tensile: 1700 psi min. Yield: 1400 psi min 2% offset. Elongation: 2% min (in 2 inches ). All the coils supplied to this dra

8、wing shall be free from seams, pits, die scratches, slivers, burrs, sharp edges, or other defects that may affect service life. Internal coil length. The coil shall be cut to overall assembly length minus the nipple intrusion. Marking: The Part or Identifying Number (PIN) shall be marked on the pack

9、age in accordance with MIL-STD-1285. The marking shall include the complete DSCC PIN, manufacturers name or CAGE code, and date code. The PIN shall be constructed using the following format: 08001 -V03 02 DSCC Internal Length Requirement support in feet Drawing coil dash number PACKAGING Packaging.

10、For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order. When packaging of material is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packagin

11、g requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the Military Departments System Command. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging fil
