38、 Standard CAN3-Z107.54, Procedure for Measurement of Sound and Vibration Due to Blasting Operations, forming part of the CSA 2107 Series of Standards on Acoustics and Noise Control. This Standard was prepared as a result of the concerns of the industry, regulatory authorities, and others about the v

39、ariety of techniques used to measure the effects of blasting. It represents a cross-section of the thinking and practices of experts in acoustics who have carried out blasting measurements. At the time this Standard was being prepared, there were no known consensus standards on this subject. when ne

40、cessary for the construction of subways, ditches, drainage pipes, etc, or the quarrying of stone. These measurements allow those interested to determine if regulatory limits are being exceeded or if the vibrations are low enough to prevent structural damage. This Standard was prepared with the Subco

41、mmittee on Industry Noise by the Technical Committee on Acoustics and Noise Control, and was formally approved by this Committee and the Standards Steering Committee on Miscellaneous Subjects.
