21、mber 20085.3.8 A door or cover that gives access to electrical components shall require a tool to open and be hinged or otherwise attached.5.3.9 Storage compartments for rollers, pins, cords, etc., shall be subject to investigation with regard to the eventual occurrence of a shock or fire hazard res
22、ulting from such conditions of use or storage as cord sets being subjected to temperatures exceeding the rating of the insulation or metal accessories contacting live parts.5.3.10 A handheld hair dryer other than a household type that complies with the requirements of Clause 8.5 (see Clause 5.21), a
23、nd that has a metal screen or guard at the air exhaust opening(s) shall have a second screen not less than 6.35 mm and conductively insulated from the first screen, unless the heating element is 50 mm or more from the air exhaust opening. Each screen or guard shall meet the requirements of Clause 5.
24、3.2.5.4 Mechanical assembly5.4.1 Parts used in the construction of equipment shall have adequate strength and shall be assembled and secured in position to ensure proper and nonhazardous functioning under both the normal and the abnormal conditions that can be met in service.
