It is identical with ISO5747:1995 Pliers and nippers Lever assisted side cutting pliers, end and diagonal cutting nippers Dimensions and test values, published by the International Orga

7、nization for Standardization (ISO). This British Standard supersedes BS3087:1986 which is withdrawn. The Technical Committee has reviewed the provisions of ISO5744, to which reference is made in the text, and has decided that it is acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard. A related Brit

8、ish Standard to ISO5744:1988 is BS3087-4:1988 Methods of test. It is recommended that pliers, pincers and nippers should be legibly and indelibly marked with a name, trademark or the manufacturing code that will allow traceability. BS3087-7 1)should be marked either on the tool or on its associated

13、999 1 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the principal dimensions of lever assisted side cutting pliers and end and diagonal cutting nippers, as well as the test values for the pliers and nippers to verify their functioning, according to ISO5744. General technical requirements are given i

14、n ISO5743.
