Manufacturer Name is one of the three primary elements needed to develop an Equipment Identifier. Manufacturer Part Number proprietary character string of inform
13、ation that is assigned to each plug-in card by its manufacturer. NOTE 1: part numbers can be further described as: coding of arbitrary length and format that uniquely identifies a specific plug-in card or equipment mounting; coding that may contain some basic information on the purpose or function o
14、f the plug-in card or mounting; This coding is stamped or etched on each plug-in card or mounting. Part numbers normally do not identify which version, issue, or release number was used to manufacture the plug-in card. NOTE 2: A part number is one of the three primary elements needed to develop an E
