3、etal compression-sleeves for use with cross-linked polyeth-ylene (PEX) plastic pipe in38-in.,12-in.,58-in.,34-in., 1-in.,114-in., 112-in., and 2 in. nominal diameters, whereby the PEXpipe is cold-expanded before fitting assembly. These cold-expansion fittings and metal compression-sleeves are intend
4、edfor use in residential and commercial, hot and cold, potablewater distribution systems, as well as sealed central heating,including under-floor heating systems, with continuous opera-tion at pressures up to and including 100 psi (690 kPa), and attemperatures up to and including 180F (82C).1.2 Incl
5、uded in this specification are the requirements formaterials, workmanship, dimensions, and markings to be usedon the fittings and compression-sleeves.
