3、s test method covers a procedure for determining theeffect of an air stream upon sprayed fire-resistive materials(SFRMs). These SFRMs include sprayed fibrous and cemen-titious materials. The test method is applicable only to labora-tory procedures.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded

10、strates.4. Summary of Test Method4.1 This test method covers a procedure for determining theeffect of an air stream upon SFRM in plenums. In this testmethod, the SFRM is subjected to a tangential air stream for aminimum of 24 h. Collection filters downstream from thesample are weighed at frequent in
11、tervals to determine theamount of material removed from the sample.5. Significance and Use5.1 It is the intent of this test method to determine propertiesof SFRM that may be used to provide an indication ofserviceability.
