4、y control reviewan evaluation ofthe PDD examination that is free of undue influence from theoriginal examiner or other persons.3.3 objective quality control reviewan evaluation of PDDtest data based upon established analysis procedures whichmeet ASTM standards.3.4 PDD Reporta written account to the

5、person or agencyrequesting the examination which summarizes the details of anindividual PDD examination. The report should include, but isnot limited to: the details of the incident or the circumstancesfor which the examination was conducted; identifying infor-mation of the examinee; the purpose of

6、the examination;identifying information of the examiner; the results of theexamination; the instrumentation utilized to collect the testdata; and any explanatory remarks determined necessary by theexaminer. For a specific issue examination, all relevant ques-tions and the examinees answers shall be

7、included.3.5 quality controla systematic, independent, and objec-tive review, evaluation, and critique of a PDD examination bya qualified examiner. This review is designed to ensure eachexaminer maintains professional standards.4. Summary of Practice4.1 All PDD examinations may be subjected to a qua

8、litycontrol review. Prior to a PDD examination being consideredby any court or judicial tribunal, in order to ensure eachexamination meets appropriate standards, each examinationshould undergo a quality control review.4.2 Experienced examiners who are trained in the PDDformat utilized by the origina

9、l examiner are qualified toconduct a quality control review of an examination.4.3 A quality control review shall be independent andobjective and meet all applicable ASTM standards. The qualitycontrol process should involve, but is not limited to a reviewof: the test data analysis of all charts colle

10、cted during theexamination; all questions and answers utilized during theexamination to produce the data which were evaluated; thePDD report; any available electronic recordings; and all alliedpaperwork completed by the PDD examiner in support of theexamination.4.4 The person conducting the quality

11、control review shallattest, in writing, as to whether the test data supports theconclusion rendered by the original examiner.4.5 All PDD documents and test data shall remain availablefor a quality control review for no less than a year or until theincident or circumstance requiring the examination t

12、o beconducted has been completely adjudicated.5.
