7、ngth of hardened grout is determinedusing top-restrained cubes as defined in Test Method C109/C109M.5. Significance and Use5.1 This test method affords a means for determining thecompressive strength of grouts that expand and, in use, hardenunder conditions of partial to total restraint.5.2 It is pa
8、rticularly applicable for determining the effect oncompressive strength of grout fluidifier to be used with groutfor PA concrete (See Specification C937).6. Apparatus6.1 Scales, masses, sieves, glass graduates, and three-gangmolds, for 2-in. (or 50-mm) cube specimens, baseplates,trowel, and testing
9、machine as specified in Test MethodC109/C109M.6.2 Plates, to cover specimen molds, capable of supportingthe weight or being held down by C-clamps, as described in10.3.6.3 Mass of 7 kg (or 15 lb) or C-clamps, for holding downthe cover plates.7. Temperature and Humidity7.1 Temperature and humidity con

Sampling8.1 The test sample shall consist of approximately 1500 mLof grout and shall be representative of the material in the mixer.8.2 Grout proportioned at the mixer from
