This is offset, however, by invisible earnings, to which the main contributor is tourism. Switzerland is a ve
19、ry popular tourist resort all year round. It is home to some of Europes most highly developed and famous ski resorts. Geneva is headquarters for many United Nations agencies such as the Atomic Energy Agency (AEA) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), although Switzerland itself is not a me
20、mber of the United Nations. When the UN was formed after World War II, the Swiss decided against joining, since some of the obligations of membership went against their traditional neutrality. The country does belong to many of the agencies affiliated to the United Nations, however, among them, the
