3、r concrete and mortars. The classifications of concrete andmortar covered are defined in Section 3.NOTE 1The scope of this standard does not cover mortars for unitmasonry. Dry preblended mortars for unit masonry are covered bySpecification C1714/C1714M.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inc
4、h-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.3 The following safety hazards c

17、normal strength development.3.2.1.1 DiscussionThis product allows for earlier removalof forms and allows concrete projects to be put into servicemuch sooner than with normal strength concrete.3.2.2 concrete, normal strength, nin packaged, dry, com-bined materials, a product for general building and
18、repairwhere thickness exceeds 50 mm 2 in.3.2.2.1 DiscussionTypical uses include building or repair-ing sidewalks, patios, steps, footings, and for setting posts.3.2.3 concrete, normal strength, lightweight, nin pack-aged, dry, combined materials, a concrete product for buildingand repair where the l
19、ightest concrete density is desirable.3.2.3.1 DiscussionThese mixtures will produce concretethat is about 25 to 35 % lower in density than normal weightconcrete.3.2.4 concrete, normal strength, lightweight using normalweight sand, nin packaged, dry, combined materials, aconcrete product for building
