Ordering Information4.1 It is the responsibility of the purchaser to specify allrequirem

16、 Chemical Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 2.5.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall be done per Specification B880and the material shall conform to the product (check) analysisvariations defined in Check
17、 Analysis Variation table of Speci-fication B880.6. Mechanical and Other Requirements6.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical properties specified in Table 1.7. Dimensions and Permissible Variations7.1 Diameter, Thickness, or WidthThe permissible varia-tions from the spec
18、ified dimensions as measured on thediameter or between parallel surfaces of cold-worked rod andbar shall be as prescribed in Table 3, and of hot-worked rod andbar as prescribed in Table 4.7.2 Out-of-RoundHot-worked rods and cold-worked rods(except “forging quality”), all sizes, in straight lengths,
19、shallnot be out-of-round by more than one half the total permissiblevariations in diameter shown in Tables 3 and 4, except forhot-worked rods12 in. (12.7 mm) in diameter and under, whichmay be out-of-round by the total permissible variations indiameter shown in Table 4.7.3 CornersCold-worked bars wi
