2、e wrinkles from laundered and drycleaned polyester blend and knit garments. 1.2 Classification. 1.2.1 Types and sizes. Types and size shall be as specified (see table I, 6.2, and 6.5). The tunnel delivered under this specification shall be the manufacturers commercial product, except for any changes necessary to comply with specification requirements. co

15、 the first article, if one is submitted, or prior to commencing production, the supplier shall submit to the contracting officer or his authorized representative satisfactory evidence that the tunnel that he proposes to furnish under this specification meet the applicable requirements of OSHA, NEMA

16、No. ICs-1970, and NFPA No, 70. 3.3.1.1 _c OSHA. Acceptable evidence of meeting the applicable safety and health standards of OSHA shall be a certificate of compliance certifying that the steam tunnels furnished conforms to OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.264.- 3.3.1.2 NEEA. Acceptable evidence of meeting

17、the requirements of NEMA standards shall be a certificate of compliance that the motor controllers, switches, relays, and time delays, conform to NEMA Standard Publication NO. ICs-1970. 3.3.1.3 NFPA. Acceptable evidence of meeting requirements of NFPA standard shall be a certificate of compliance th

Materials not definitely specified shall be of the quality normally used by the manufacturer in his standard comercial tunnel provided that the complet

19、ed item complies with all provisions of this specification. 3.4.1 Corrosion-resistant steel. The steel used in the fabrication of the tunnels shall be either stainless steel conPorming to requirements of ASTM Specifications Ai67 or Al.76, as applicable or a hot dipped low carbon steel conforming to

20、AIS1 No. 4. air may be fabricated of hot rolled steel. Frame members not in contact with steam or hot moist 3.4.2 Materials for fasteners. Rivets, bolts, screws, nuts, and washers shall be of carbon or alloy steel, except where corrosion-resistant metal is to be fastened, in which case they shall be

22、, fittings, and valves. Pipe, tube, fittings, and valves used for water, steam, and to condensate lines shall comply with accepted plumbing practice. 3.4.4 Conduit, fittings, and electirc wire. Electrical conduit shall be rigid electrical metallic tubing or flexible conduit. When exposed to steam or

23、 hot moist air, electrical metallic tubing or liquid tight electrical conduit shall be used, All electrical wire shall be heat-resistant stranded or solid copper, therino-plastic insulated. 3.4.5 Xotors, Motors shall be continuous, drip proof or splash proof type for operation in a 40 degree Centigr

24、ade (C) ambient temperature. All motors shall conform to the requirements of CC-El-636 or CC-14-641, as applicable, and to the following requirements: (a) (b) Each motor shall have the proper starting characteristics, ample power, and adequate thermal dissipation capacity to comply with requirements

25、 specified herein, with a reasonable factor of safety, commensurate with the application and expected duty cycle to which each motor might be subjected under normal operating conditions. 1/2 horsepower or less when used for horizontal applications may have sleeve bearings. have adequate and accessib

Electric heat shall be provided by a thermostatically controlled coil or strip type electric heaters. 3.5.1.2.1.1 Thermostat and safety controls.
