The truck shall be equipped with a Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) and a Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS) conforming to SAE 51040 and SAE 5231, respectively. A commercial structure(s) certified to the above SAE standards is acceptable without rete

45、sting, provided that the certification data is made available to the contracting officer, that no structural modifi- cations are required in attaching the structure(s) to the truck, and that the structure(s) meets the other requirements specified herein. The structure(s) shall not interfere with mai

46、ntainability, ingress into and egress from the truck, and visibility required in normal operation. The interior of the structure(s) shall not protrude into the “space envelope“ defined in SAE 5154. Each structure shall have the following information legibly and permanently affixed: (1) Contractors o

47、r vendors name and address, (2) structure model number, if any, and (3) the make, model or series of equipment the structure is designed to fit. 3.6.4 Sound level. 3.6.4.1 Operator station.
