4、r-of precedence. In the event of a conflict between the text of the specification and reference cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Standard samples. 3.1.1 Cases. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2), the contracting officer will furnish a standard

5、 sample of the case for matching the color and finish of the coated cover only. material may be substituted as a standard (see 1.2 and 6.3). The hinge for the case shall be a piano type brass plated steel hinge 2-7/8 inches plus o

10、r minus 1/8 inch in length. The overall width of the hinge shall be 5/8 plus or minus 1/64 inch. The thickness of the leaf shall be a minimum of 1/64 inch. steel clips insuring closure of the case unless an upward force is exerted on the lid. At the option of the manufacturer the cover of the case may be fabricated from either a pyroxylin coated cloth or morocco grain vinyl. 3.3.4.1 Pyroxylin coated cloth. The base cloth for the pyroxylin coated cloth shall be
