SCOPE. This document defines the technical and p

2、erformance requirements for a medium capacity, portable, processor machine, radiographic film, automatic, deployable suitable for automatic developing, fming, washing and drying of all standard brands of nondestructive testing x-ray film in an industrial environment. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. 2.1

3、Power Reauirements. The processor shall operate in accordance with requirements of this product description when supplied with either 110 or 220 + /- 10% Volts, 3-wire single phase, 50/60 Hz, 20 amp maximum current. 2.2 Wdbv Mode. The processor shall have an automatic standby mode to conserve energy

4、 and wear by automatically shutting down the transport and dryer systems when no film is being processed. 2.3 Display. The processor shall have a digital temperature display. 2.4 Feed Indicator. The processor shall provide an indicator to alert the operator that it is ready for additional film. 2.5

5、Weight. The maximum weight shall not exceed 225 Ib. (empty). 2.6 distribution is unlimited. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 580 to the maximum extent practical. Recoverable materials. The contractor is encouraged to use recovered ma

7、terials in accordance with Public Law 94- 3.2 Metr ic products. Products manufactured to metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pounds unit, provided they fall within specified tolerances using conversion tables contained in the latest revision of F

8、ederal Standard No. 376, and all other requirements of this Commercial Item Description are met. If a product is manufactured to metric dimensions and those dimensions exceed tolerances specified in the inch-pound units, a request should be made to the contracting officer to determine if the product

9、 is acceptable. The contracting officer has the option of accepting or rejecting the product. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS. 4.1 C-n i i . The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Descriptio

10、n, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, standards, and quality assurance practices. The government reserves the right to require a government witnessed, pre-award, sample verification test at the contractors site to insure conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as

11、 may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 4.2 reliability and supportability of the product to be provided under this CID. Market Acceptance. The following market acceptance criteria are necessary to document the quality, 4.2.1 requirements of this CID for at least 2 years

The company producing the item must have been producing an industrial automatic processor meeting the 4.2.2 The company must have sold at least 30 units of the model being offered commercially. 5.
