Definitions 3.1 Inspection batch A quantity of rings, of the same type, the same dimensions, the same material, the same surface treatment, manufact

12、ured under identical conditions, and presented for inspection at the same time. 3.2 Single random sampling See IS0 3534. 3.3 Gampling plan See IS0 3534. 3.4 Acceptable quality level (AQL) See IS0 3534. 4. Quality assurance See EN 3042. 5. Requirements and test methods See table 1. Inspections and te

13、sts shall be carried out on each batch, by the manufacturer, or under his responsibility. Each ring may be submitted to several inspections or tests. Inspection batches declared unacceptable after inspections and tests shall be submitted for re-inspection only after all defective units have been rem

14、oved and/or defects corrected. In this case, twice the normal sample size shall be used for re-inspecting or re-testing the attributes causing initial rejection ; the same acceptance level shall be used. :rf the mason for rejection results from the inethoci of operatj.iq or from the test apparatus,

15、the tests may be repeated after elimination of the cause. A note to this effect shall be added to the corresponding inspection documents. Filing of documents For each inspection batch, the manufacturer shall store in an archive, for at least three years, a report concerning tests carried out, available for despatch, to a client, at his request. 7. Certificate of conformity Each delivery shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity to confirm that the ring conforms with the requirements of this Standard.
