2、f6rence IS0 4223-2 : 1991 (E/F) IS0 4223-2 : 1991 (E/F) Foreword IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0 technical committees

3、. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, govern- mental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0 collaborates closely with the Inte

4、rnational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member

5、bodies casting a vote. International Standard IS0 4223-2 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 31, Tyres, rims and valves. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (IS0 4223-2 : 19931, in which definitions 1.2 and 2.1 have been modified. IS0 4223 consists of the following part

22、onical rim. 2.4 anti-static solid tyre: Solid tyre which is sufficiently electrically conductive to prevent the accumulation of a static charge. 2.5 conductive solid lyre: Solid tyre capable of conducting electricity. 2.6 oil-resistant solid tyre: Solid tyre that is especially resistant to damage by

23、 oil absorption. 2.7 high load capacity solid tyre: Solid tyre made with elastomeric material and having a load capacity higher than a rubber solid tyre of the same size designation. 3 Definition concerning components of solid tyre 3.1 base reinforcement: Material of very low extensibility which is

24、incorporated in the base of a solid tyre to retain the tyre on the rim (wheel). 4 Definitions concerning dimensions of solid tyre 4.1 cushion height: Thickness of elastomeric material above the base reinforcement of the solid tyre. 4.2 nominal rim (wheel) diameter: Outside diameter of the rim (wheel

25、) on to which the solid tyre is pressed. 4.3 solid tyre base width: Width of a solid tyre at its reinforced base. 4.4 overall diameter: Outermost diameter of the tyre thread. 4.5 interference fit: Fit in which the outside diameter of the rim is larger than the internal diameter of a solid tyre. 2.2
