This Telecommunications Systems Bulletin has been developed by Subcommittee TR-45.6, and contains information which may be useful to impl

34、ementors of systems compliant with TSB-87, “Cellular Digital Packet Data System Specification,” or its derivatives. This document contains significant portions of material originally submitted by the Cellular Digital Packet Data Forum Inc. CDPD is a technology intended to provide packet data network

35、ing services to mobile hosts. The media used to provide these services consists of radio channels typically used for Advanced Mobile Phone System (AMPS) cellular service. Document Structure This Telecommunications Systems Bulletin is published as a series of Parts. Each Part contains information per

36、taining to one aspect of the system. 41、rvice providers and manufacturers intending to build or deploy equipment for use in the Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) internal network. This Part does not directly impact CDPD subscribers or Mobile End System (M-ES) manufacturers. This Part assumes that the reader is familiar with CDPD in gene

42、ral, as presented in IS-732-100. In order to properly function, the CDPD Network needs information about CDPD subscribers such as: o The subscribers identity o e o Subscribers billing status o The CDPD Subscriber Directory Profile is used for: o Limitations imposed on the subscriber End Systems asso
