1、 Tentative Interim Amendment NFPA101 Life Safety Code2018 Edition Reference: 22.7.8, and 23.7.8 TIA 18-3 (TIA Log #1324) Pursuant to Section 5 of the NFPA Regulations Governing the Development of NFPA Standards, the National Fire Protection Association has issued the following Tentative Interim Amen

2、dment to NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, 2018 edition. The TIA was processed by the Technical Committee on Detention and Correctional Occupancies, and the Correlating Committee on Safety to Life, and was issued by the Standards Council on November 18, 2017, with an effective date of December 8, 2017. A

3、Tentative Interim Amendment is tentative because it has not been processed through the entire standards-making procedures. It is interim because it is effective only between editions of the standard. A TIA automatically becomes a public input of the proponent for the next edition of the standard; as

4、 such, it then is subject to all of the procedures of the standards-making process. 1. Revise 22.7.8 to read as follows: 22.7.8 Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems. Integrated fire protection and life safety systems shall be tested in accordance with 9.11.4.1. 2. Revise 23.7.8 to read

5、 as follows: 23.7.8 Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems. 23.7.8.1 Integrated fire protection and life safety systems shall be tested in accordance with 9.11.4.1. 23.7.8.2 Integrated fire protection and life safety systems in high-rise buildings shall be tested in accordance with 9.11.4.2.
