SCOPE 1.1 Scope. - This specification establishes the requirements for the procurement of Flotation Bladder Mk 2 Mod O, Bureau of Ordnance LD 288859, which is used to recover submerged Orhan ce i tems. 1

The loaded bladder shall float at the sur- face of the water without resubmerging for a period of one hour minimum, when tested in accordance with 44h3.4 . . -. 3.3.3 Envronmental conditions. - The flotation bladder shall operate satisfactoril

20、y during and after exposure to the environments described in the follow- ing paragraphs. 3*.3.3.1 Low temperature. - The flotation bladder shall, be aubjecterd to the temperature conditions specified in 4,5.3.1 and shall show no corrosion or damage and. shall pass the inflation test of 4,5.3.1. 24、e inspection lot size is the number of units of product in an inspection lot. The minimum and maximum inspection lot sizgs for inspection purposes are determined by the Government inspector, and may differ from the quantity designated in the contract or order as a lot for shipment, or other purposes

25、. wise specified by the contract or order, a random sample of bladders, cloth and seams will be selected from each grand lot by the Government inspector. samples will be submitted to+n activity designated by the Bureau of Ordnance, for tests to determine compliance of the samples with the requiremen

26、ts of the contract, this specification, and the drawings. A grand lot shall consist of successively produced bladders Ln the quantity determined by the Government inspector, but not exceeding 300. From ehch grand lot of 300 to 181, inclusive, samples of five wi be selected as specified in 4b.2. When

27、 the grand Lot size is i80 or less, the size of the sample will be in accordance with the appendix of MIL- STD-105, Tabla VIf, Inspection Level LS, as follows: For grand lots of 66 to 180, the sample size.will be three; for 2 to 65, two. The in CCC-T-191, Method 5872. 4.52.3 Flexibil-ity test. - From-each sample piece of cloth, two strip specimens shall be cut para

36、exibillty after-heat treatment. - The change in stiffness shall be determined according bo CCC-T-191, Method 5870 and 4.5.2.3 above. acceptable decrease in stiffness for the specimen shall be 8 per cent in the warp direction and-4 per cent in the fill direction. 4.5.2.5 Flexibility after water leach

37、ing. - The change in stiffness shall be determined aocoraing to CCC-T-191, Method 5830 and 4.5.2.4 above. The maximum- acceptable increase in s-tiffness for te specimen shall be 8 per cent in the warp directiondid 8 per cent in the fill direction. 4.5.2.6 Natural weathering testr - A 4-inoh by. 4-in
