13、 Polymers and Coated Fabrics 5.0 5.0 MATERIALS The body of the fittings shall be made of a composite material that meets all SAE J2494-3 material test requirements and complies with MPAPS B-50. 5.1 Composite Body Material Requirements The composite body material requirements are shown in Table 1 bel
14、ow, and will be composed of a Glass-filled Nylon 6,10, or Glass-filled Nylon 12. FEBRUARY 2018 Page 4 of 8 6.0 DESIGN GUIDELINES AND DIMENSIONS The fitting consists of the components shown in Figure below: Pressure containing components of the assembly must be connected by a barbed interference fit with the composite
22、body. Connections which rely on secondary operations such as ultrasonic welding and/or secondary compression rings are expressly prohibited.
