6、 performance monitoring Summary Supplement 53 to ITU-T G-series Recommendations provides an overview of Ethernet operations, administration, maintenance (OAM) performance monitoring. It describes how Ethernet OAM performance measurements are processed, configured and managed as described in Recommen
7、dations ITU-T G.8013, ITU-T G.8021 and ITU-T G.8051. It also introduces the modelling for Ethernet OAM performance monitoring as described in Recommendation ITU-T G.8052. 9、s Supplement 53 (12/2014) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU
10、-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for stu
11、dy by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a
12、collaborative basis with ISO and IEC.
