This standard defines the test conditions, test methods and requirements of protection covers forbatteries (battery enclosure).Figure 1: Battery Protection CoverNote: Samples of components or material released to this
3、 specification shall be tested for conformity with therequirements of this specification and approved by Product Engineering prior to commencement of delivery ofbulk supplies.In the event of any intentional deviations from the requirements of this specification or the previously releasedsamples, it
4、is the sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser unsolicited with a documentation ofall such deviations. Upon request the supplier shall submit samples of the changed version for reapproval byProduct Engineering prior to commencement of delivery of deviant bulk supplies.1.2 Mission
5、/Theme. The cover is intended to protect the battery against cold temperatures. Theenvironmental conditions in the engine compartment (e.g., high temperatures) must be taken in account for thecover design.1.3 Classification. 17、es a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier toprovide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the product/process,and to apply for a new release.If not otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and do
18、cumented by the supplier prior tostart of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to betweenthe responsible GM department and the supplier.3.7.1 Test Results. 19、(Layer 1).4.1.1.1 Composition. Warp and weft 100 % by mass polyester.4.1.1.2 Weight per Unit Area. To GMW3182 (80 + 10/-5) g/m2.4.1.1.3 Thickness. To ISO 5084 - 0.1 mm minimum.4.1.1.4 Thread Count. To GMW4090.4.1.1.4.1 Warp | 20 Threads/cm.4.1.1.4.2 Weft | 20 Threads/cm.4.1.1.5 Breaking Force. To GM
20、W3010.4.1.1.5.1 In warp direction 140 N minimum.4.1.1.5.2 In weft direction 90 N minimum.4.1.1.6 Tensile Extension. To GMW3010.4.1.1.6.1 In warp direction: (20 to 30) %4.1.1.6.2 In weft direction: (10 to 30) %4.1.1.7 Heat Resistance. A test piece (50 2) mm x (200 10) mm shall be folded in longitudin
21、al direction(color sides face to face) and the folded area loaded with 2 kg, which has been previously preheated to the testtemperature. This test pack shall then be stored in an oven for 1 h at (+150 3) C. Immediately after removalfrom the oven it shall be evaluated with a 6 x magnifying lens. No b
