9、g of textiles; abrasion test methods for textilefabrics; rotary abrasion test1 ScopeThis test method described in this document shall be used to evaluate the abrasion resistance of trim mate-rials used in automobiles (rotary abrasion test).2 Definitions2.1Abrasion - Relative surface movement under d

10、efined pressure between the test material and a specifiedabrasive agent.2.2Rubbing off - Abrasion for a specified time period without causing visible destruction (e.g. formation ofholes) in the test material.2.3Continuous abrasion - Abrasion continued until visible partial destruction or formation o

11、f holes of the testmaterial occurs.2.4Hole - The complete removal of one thread (warp or weft) between two intersecting points, or the breakdownof one mesh.2.5Abrasion - The mass of material removed from the test piece by the abrasion test (such debris from the testis termed fibre dust).3 Test Piece

12、s and Number of Test Pieces3.1From the available material, circular test pieces of 100 cm2 area shall be taken from various uniformly dis-tributed areas of the test material. If the thickness of the test material exceeds 10 mm, then the thickness ofthe test pieces must be reduced by 50 %. Any loose

13、or frayed material adhering to the edges of any testpieces shall be removed prior to testing to avoid any subsequent weighing errors.3.2For initial sample approval and arbitration purposes at least three test pieces, and for routine quality controlat least one test piece shall be tested.ENGINEERINGS

16、spruchung.2 Begriffe2.1Scheuern ist die mit Reibung verbundene Relativ-Bewegung eines Probekrpers aus textilen Flchengebil-den zu einem Scheuermittel bzw. Reib- oder Scheuerkrper.2.2Anscheuern ist ein Scheuervorgang mit vorgegebener Scheuerdauer, ohne da eine sichtbare Zerstrung(Lochbildung) des tex

17、tilen Flchengebildes eintritt.2.3Durchscheuern ist ein Scheuervorgang bis zur sichtbaren teilweisen Zerstrung oder Lochbildung.2.4Die Lochbildung beginnt bei Geweben, wenn ein Faden (gleich, ob Kett- oder Schufaden) ber2 Bindungspunkte hinweg fehlt, bei Maschenwaren, wenn ein Maschenglied zerstrt is

18、t.2.5Abrieb ist der durch Scheuern eintretende Masseverlust des Scheuerprobekrpers. Als Faserstaub werdendie meist sehr kleinen Faserbruchstcke bezeichnet, die beim Scheuern entstehen.3 Probekrper und Probenanzahl3.1Aus dem zu prfenden Werkstoff werden kreisrunde Probekrper von 100 cm Flche, mglichs

19、t gleichm-ig ber die Prfstckflche verteilt, entnommen. Es ist zweckmig, sofern am Rand des Probekrperslose Randfden anhngen, diese zu entfernen, da sie bei der Prfung verlorengehen knnen, wodurch dieBestimmung des Gewichtsverlustes fehlerhaft wrde. Bei mehr als 10 mm dicken Probekrpern (Sandwich-Pro

Routine quality control shall be carried out on test pieces in the as received conditi

22、on (i.e. nospecial pre-conditioning).5 Apparatus5.1Schopper abrasion testing machine - Comprising of a test head to which the test piece is clamped, an abra-sion block to which the specified abrasive agent is clamped, and a mechanical device for rotating the testhead.Working principle: The abrasion

23、block which is loaded by means of supplementary weights maintains linecontact with the test piece which is clamped to the rotating test head (in the form of an obtuse angled cone),thereby producing an abrasive effect in the tangential direction (see figure 1).Figure 1:The included angle of the obtus

24、e cone is 166, and the axis of the test head is inclined at 7 to the vertical.Rotation of the test head around its own axis and the offset, produces motion. Dependent upon the workingprinciple an approx. 400 mm long surface line of the test head maintains contact with the abrasion block,thus ensurin

25、g that each point of the approx. 50 cm test area and the abrasion block are uniformly and peri-odically abraded.Note:Test to code 1:If at the test with a bowing height of 5 mm the test area is below 45 cm, the test result shall be disregarded.Test to code 2:If at the test with a bowing height of 8 m

Dielaufende Qualittsberwachung wird an Probekrpern ohne Vorbehandlung im Anlieferungszustand durch-gefhrt.5 Prfgerte und Hilfsmittel5.1Das Rundscheuerprfgert bestehend aus einer Einspannvorrichtung mit Spannkopf als Trger der zu pr-fenden Scheuerprobe, einer

28、 Aufspannplatte zur Aufnahme des Reibkrpers und dem Bewegungsmecha-nismus.Arbeitsprinzip: Der mit Zusatzgewichten versehene Reibkrper berhrt den auf einem stumpfwinkeligen,sich drehenden Kegel aufgespannten Probekrper stndig lngs der Mantellinie des Kegels, wodurch einScheuereffekt in tangentialer R

29、ichtung entsteht. (siehe Abb. 1)Abb. 1:Die Einspannvorrichtung mit dem stumpfwinkeligen Kegel (ffnungwinkel 166) des Spannkopfes als Auf-lage des Probekrpers fhrt eine Taumel-Drehbewegung aus, die durch Rotieren des um 7 gegen die Ver-tikale geneigten Kegels um diese und seine eigene Achse entsteht.

30、 Entsprechend dem Arbeitsprinzip liegtdabei stets eine etwa 40 mm lange Mantellinie der Oberflche des kegelfrmigen Spannkopfes an der ebe-nen Reibkrperflche an. Dadurch wird jede Stelle der etwa 50 cm groen Prfflche und des Reibkrpersgleichmig periodisch gescheuert. (Das Prfgert ist als Schopper-Ger

33、e, which is clamped by an insertable clamping ring with conical obtuse-angledspacer. The setting allows variation in bowing height of the test piece.5.3The test head (which is detachable) is driven, via a dog clutch, at (75 5) r.p.m. The drive device incorpo-rates a switch for reversing the directio

34、n of rotations, and a counter for indicating the number of completerevolutions of the test head (1 complete revolution = 360).5.4The abrasion block is fitted with a clamping device to securely retain the abrasive agent (emery paper). It isattached to the machine by means of a low friction lever syst

35、em fitted with counterbalancing facilities. Byaddition of weights the compressive force of the abrasion block can be adjusted.5.5An assembly jig with spanners, gauges etc., is used to assemble the test piece to the test head and adjustthe bowing height.5.6 General Apparatus5.6.1 Soft, pure bristle b

38、usgebildet ist, besteht aus einem ueren Ring zur Auf-nahme des Probekrpers, der durch einen einschraubbaren Spannring mit kegelstumpffrmigem Zwischen-ring festgeklemmt wird. Der einschraubbare, kegelfrmige Spannkopf dient als Auflage des Probekrpersund zum Einstellen einer bestimmten Wlbhhe.5.3Die a

39、bnehmbare Einspannvorrichtung sitzt fest auf einer Mitnehmerscheibe, die mit (75 5) 1/min angetrie-ben wird und die Taumel-Drehbewegung ausfhrt. Durch einen Umschalter kann die Drehrichtung gewech-selt werden. Die Anzahl der Scheuerumdrehungen wird von einem Zhlwerk angezeigt. Unter einer Scheu-erum

40、drehung ist eine volle Umdrehung um 360 zu verstehen.5.4Die Aufspannplatte ist mit 2 Klemmleisten und einer Spannschraube zum Einspannen des als Reibkrperdienenden Scheuerpapiers versehen. Sie wird von dem einen Ende eines zweiarmigen reibungsarm gela-gerten Hebels getragen und kann durch ein Ausgle

41、ichgewicht austariert werden. Durch Aufstecken von Ge-wichtsstcken kann die Anprekraft des Reibkrpers eingestellt werden.5.5Ein fest montierter Ringschlssel zum erleichterten Einspannen der Probekrper in die Einspannvorrichtungmit dazugehriger Holzscheibe sowie ein Spannschlssel und eine Einstellehr

42、e zum Nachprfen der gefor-derten Wlbhhe.5.6 Allgemeine Prfgerte5.6.1 Weicher Pinsel, reine Borsten (Burhorst Pinsel F 260 01418)5.6.2 Weies Papier oder Karton5.6.3 Geeignete Stanzvorrichtungen, Schere o. zum Herstellen der Probekrper5.6.4 Prfgerte zur Probenvorbehandlung entsprechend GME 603005.6.5

46、icon carbide paper 320 grade (to get of A. Opel AG, TDC Central Laboratories) shall be mounted on theabrasion block and a load of 1000 g added. The block shall be lowered onto the test piece and the counteradjusted to zero.6.4The machine shall then be switched on. After each 100 revolutions, the dir

47、ection of rotation shall be re-versed. After each 500 revolutions continuously on the same test piece the silicion carbide paper shall berenewed, and the abraded fibre dust removed from the test piece using the brush.6.5For “rubbing off“ tests, where the abrasion period is given a specified number o

48、f revolutions (as indicated onthe relevant material specification), the fibre dust shall be removed after every 100 revolutions.6.6For tests to determine “continuouseabrasion“ tests, the number of revolutions shall be continued up to theformation of a hole in the test piece.6.7On completion of the r

49、equisite number of revolutions for a “rubbing off“ test, the test piece shall be removedfrom the machine and carefully brushed and shaken out to remove all remaining fibre dust. This operationshall be carried out over white paper or cardboard, and continued until no fibre dust particles are visible bythe naked eye on clean paper or cardboard. Care must be taken to avoid loss of
