14、hichcanbeused,nosinglepeeltestwillfulfiltherequirementsofall cases. ThisEuropeanStandardisintendedtotestanassemblyconsistingoftwoflexibleadherends. “T”peeltestcanalsobemadeincompliancewith EN285101,AdhesivesPeeltestforaflexiblebondedtorigidtestspecimenassemblyPart1:90peel(ISO 85101:1990). 21、dedendsofthetest specimen. Theangleofthebondlinetothedirectionoftheappliedforceisuncontrolled. 5 Safety Personsusingthisstandardshallbefamiliarwithnormallaboratorypractice. Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallsafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse. Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoestablishsafet

22、yandhealthpracticesandtoensurecompliancewithany Europeanandnationalregulatoryconditions. 6 Apparatusandmaterial 6.1 Tensiletestingmachine, capableofsupplyingatensileforcewithaconstantrateofgripseparation.The machineshallbeequippedwithaforcemeasuringsystemcompletewithanindicatorand/orarecorder. Thein

23、dicatedforceshallnotdifferfromthetrueappliedforcebymorethan2%.Theresponsetimeofthemachine shallbeshortenoughnottoaffecttheaccuracywithwhichtheforceappliedatthetimeofrupturecanbe measured. Theforceofruptureofthespecimenshalllieintherangebetween20%and80%ofthefullscalereading. 7 Testspecimens 7.1 Sampl

24、ing 7.2Adherends NOTE Thethickness,theflexibilityandothersurfacecharacteristicsoftheadherendshaveanimpactonthepeelstrength value. Theadherendsshalleachbeofuniformthickness,preferablynotmorethan3mm. 7.3Preparationoftestspecimens Testspecimensshouldbecapableofwithstandingtheexpectedtensileforceandshou

25、ldbecapableofbeingbent throughthepeelinganglewithoutgrossirreversibledimensionalchange. testinginaccordancewithEN1067. Takeasampleoftheadhesivetobetestedinaccordancewith ENISO15605 . Examineandprepareitfor EN1895:2001(E) 6 Applytheadhesivesfollowingthemethodrecommendedbytheadhesivemanufacturer. Thea

26、pplicationtemperatureoftheadhesiveandthepressureusedtocombinetheadherendsshallbespecifiedin thetestreport. Thecoatingprocedure,thecoatingmassoftheadhesiveandthebondingconditionsshouldcomplywiththe manufacturerrecommendationsandshallbereported. Unlessotherwisespecified,25mmwidthtestspecimens,arecutfr

27、omthebondedadherends. Thechoiceofthetypeofbond:fullcoating(lamination)orbead/lineapplicationdependsonthenatureofthe adherends(e.g.softness,flexibility),onthetypeofadhesiveandonthefinalapplication(e.g.ifsubstratesfailure isexpected,bead/linebondingcanbeused,ifcohesivefailureisexpectedfullcoatingisrec

Thepreparationprocedureshallbesuchastominimizevariationsandtheuseofapneumaticorhydraulicpress, handorpoweroperated,whichcanapplyapressureupto1N/mm 2 ,isrecommended. 7.4Numberoftestspecimens Thenumberoftestspecimensshallberecordedinthetestreportandshallnotbelessthanfive.EN1895:2001(

31、E) 8 8 Conditioningandtestatmosphere Adherendsshallbeprepared,storedandbondedandtheassembliesconditionedandtestedinastandard atmosphere(23/50)accordingtoISO554unlessotherwisespecified. Theminimumconditioningtimeshallbe2h. 9 Procedure Bendbacktheunbondedportionsoftheadherendsandclamptheminthegrips,ta

32、kingcarethatthetestspecimen isaccuratelyaligned,sothatthetensionappliedisdistributeduniformlyacrossitswidth. Unlessotherwisespecified,setthetensiletestingmachine(6.1)inmotionatarateofgripseparationof(30010) mm/min(orotherspecifiedspeeds). Type1:continuethetestuntilatleast125mmofthebondedlengthissepa
